Experimenting with Fuji Film Recipes take 1ish
Experimenting with the Fuji X100V film simulation recipes. Fuji X Weekly is a great place to find a wide variety of recipes.
This gallery was just a quick experiment to see how the same image looked using 7 different recipes (camera can store a max of 7 recipes). The goal is to get a set of go to recipes that produce JPGs in the desired style right from the camera. No editing required. It’s to require some experimenting and a lot more shooting, but that’s the easy part. Getting Fuji X Raw SW setup and working with my camera was the trick part.

Walking around SLO part one of many
Took my Sony a7iii for a walk around SLO at night. I’ve walked around town at night and captured some great images with my phone. I really wanted to up the quality by using a real camera with tripod. So I packed a bag and headed to town around 9:30 on a Monday night. Usually town is completely dead by this point. Well not this Monday. A lot of car and foot traffic for SLO. Made using the tripod to grab long exposures nearly impossible. I did manage to get a few I liked.
Check out the adventure in the descriptions below.

A lot going on in this image. Started the exposure while the car was waiting at a red light. Light turns green and off it drove.

This is what it looks like when you in the middle of the street taking a 30s exposure and a car tries to run you over because you're a dumb ass in the middle of the street at night.

Just love Neon, need to bring the Pro-Mist filter next time.

This one is just about color. Might try this again with a wider angle lens.

Finally captured and empty street!
