Morro Bay / Three Stacks and a Rock

Took a ride to check out the new location of Three Stacks and A Rock Brewing Company. Located in the old aquarium in Morro Bay, the new spot is perfect for attracting new folks to the brewery and not so far away as to scare of the regulars.

The marine layer rolled in providing dramatic yet calming views of the bay. Even made a new friend who was happy to model for me.

I love the new Three Stacks location. Being inside is a bit weird as it use to be this really low rent creepy aquarium. For those who never saw the aquarium, the place is great. For me, I can still see and hear the seals begging for sardines.

I really like the Edward Hopper vibe of this photo. I need to go back and take a better one. I’m just not a huge fan of taking candid photos of people.

Started with a flight. I’m a huge fan of IPAs with Belgian yeast and the Belgia did not disappoint! 🍻

I’m not a huge fan of low ABV hazies. Usually too sweet for my palate. Marine layer is definitely an exception to this rule. White pepper hop notes and very well balanced. Highly recommend.
